For a long time, we had ideas and plans about moving out of the country, leaving Azerbaijan, going abroad, and living abroad. And finally, we started.
We are a small family, 2 people, and 1 cat. We were a couple who lived in Khirdalan, tired of going back and forth to Baku, spending 3 hours (at least) every day in traffic jams, and one day we wanted to take a risk and go long distances for a long time. (We were – it does not mean that we are not yet, it means that we have already started). We were looking for an opportunity, an excuse. I changed my job. My husband left his job. Taking advantage of the possibilities of my new job (home office), we took the first step to realising our dreams.
This blog exists to share the risks we took, the experiences we gained, and the information we gathered during our journey. Because you can’t sit down and talk a lot with friends, not everything is interesting, when you write like this, anyone who needs any part can easily benefit from reading it.
We are back. As we start writing this blog on the night of the 12th to the 13th, may I briefly say that the beginning of everything is December 5th, 2021? I don’t think so. So, we chose Izmir, Turkey as the first close target. We also said that if we cannot get a long-term residence permit, we have the opportunity to stay for at least 90 days. We won’t have any language problems, we won’t be taking too big a risk, and we have a temporary permit. We set off.
In fact, we did not go out. We missed the plane due to a technical error. Failure to open the luggage is considered a technical error (or technical malfunction). I think so. We counted. We laughed. We didn’t go. Our ticket was lost, and we went back (Taleh Yuzbeyov said about the video he made for my gov az, laughing).
Joking aside, we bought our return ticket on the 9th, prepared the cat’s documents (again), and left. This time we arrived at the airport in good order.
We took a triple-ticket photo. We flew for 3 hours. We reached Izmir. Everything is fine, we started a new adventure.
That’s it for now. We have an Instagram account for those who want to be in these processes with us, in detail, detail, even with trifles.
And we have a very interesting YouTube video about it, you can watch it below, don’t forget to subscribe after watching it:
